Overlap Wins 4 AZIMA TIM Awards in 2025
Four projects. Four wins. One team that knows how to build bold.
At the 2025 AZIMA TIM Awards, Overlap showed up with strategy, story, and serious results. We earned honors in four standout categories:
- Best Consumer Website & Best Web/Mobile App – The Ballpark at AFS
- Best Nonprofit Website – Habitat Charlotte Region
- Best Interactive User Experience – Daybreak Utah / Cecilian Kiosk
These weren’t just design trophies. Each win reflects the impact of collaborative thinking, strategic execution, and digital work that connects with people in real ways.

Wait, what are the AZIMA TIM Awards?
They’re annual honors from the Arizona Innovation Marketing Association, recognizing standout work in digital marketing across the state. Local judges. Real-world criteria. A solid barometer of what’s working—and what’s not—in digital today.
Let’s dig into the awards!
The Ballpark at AFS
Awards: Best Consumer Website & Best Web/Mobile App
Challenge: Build a digital experience that matches the magic of game day.
Our Approach: With the Salt Lake Bees moving into a new stadium, their digital footprint needed to level up. We delivered a one-two punch: a performance-driven website and a fan-first mobile app that made it easy to stay connected, from first pitch to final score.
For the website, we tackled complex data integrations and leaned into creative solutions. Ticketmaster API? Synced. Event listings? Always current. Stadium still under construction? We used polished renderings and MLB visuals to create a pro-level look and feel. Load times stayed quick, and the site delivered a seamless experience across all devices.
The mobile app brought fans into the action, with real-time updates, intuitive navigation, and mobile ticketing that worked when it mattered most. Designed for speed and usability, the app let users move fast, get informed, and stay engaged—all without missing a moment.
Together, the site and app turned The Ballpark at AFS into more than a venue. They made it a destination you could feel before ever setting foot inside.

Habitat Charlotte Region (HCR)
Award: Best Nonprofit Website
Challenge: Amplify the mission. Make action easy.
Our Approach: We built a site that puts purpose front and center—with clean design, accessible pathways, and storytelling that moves people. Donation and volunteer flows were streamlined. Application forms were easy to find and even easier to complete. We made sure every click had a clear next step.
Accessibility wasn’t an afterthought—it was foundational. From color contrast to screen-reader compatibility, the HCR site was built to work for everyone. Judges praised how the design balanced emotion with function. We just call it good digital strategy.

Daybreak Utah / Cecilian Kiosk
Award: Best Interactive User Experience
Challenge: Bring a community to life—through glass and touchscreen.
Our Approach: At the Daybreak sales center, we turned a static kiosk into an immersive tool for exploring homes, neighborhoods, parks, and more. The interface lets visitors tap through live listings, zoom into community maps, and preview local amenities—all in real time, all with just a fingertip.
Designed specifically for touchscreens, the experience blends live inventory data with intuitive map navigation. It’s part digital concierge, part real estate guide, and all about putting users in control of their journey.

What It Means for Our Clients
Every win validates what we already believe: useful beats flashy. Thoughtful beats trendy. And collaboration beats everything. Whether it's a mobile app, nonprofit platform, or on-site kiosk, we approach every project with the same goal—create digital experiences that serve a purpose and drive results.
These awards? They’re proof that bold ideas backed by real strategy actually work.

Looking Ahead
To our clients, partners, and the AZIMA community—thank you. These honors reflect more than just our work. They represent trust, vision, and shared momentum.
Here’s to the next challenge, the next build, the next big idea.
Let’s make it happen.
